Our History

The name of the accommodation was defined in honor of my mother, because when I bought the space my mother was very happy and she was the one who gave me strength for everything. But, unfortunately, she discovered an illness and after three months she died, hence the name of the space. Her name was AURA and as I already have children, I chose "Casinhas da Avó Aura". The space was a winery and the name was supposed to be "As Casas da Adega" but, due to the situation, I chose this name with great pride and feeling!
